In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic the SYICCN Inc. office will be closed until further notice. Both Richard and Stephanie will be working from home and availble during regular business hours. However, until further notice all staff travel, focus groups, Local Youth in Care Network gatherings, in-person meetings, etc. will be postponed. During the interim SYICCN Inc. staff will be working remotely and remaining connected to our community partners, allies, and the young people we serve via social networking, by telephone, and by video- and tele-conferencing. We appreciate all efforts to reduce the spread of the virus and have taken measures to ensure that our staff and community are as safe as possible.

We believe that young people’s voices should be heard and respected; and that their concerns and opinions are fundamental in promoting awareness and change to the quality of services they receive.

What We Do
The SYICCN is a provincial non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of young people, aged 14 to 24, in or from government care in the province of Saskatchewan. We are a youth driven, “by youth, for youth”, organization. Our purpose is to ensure that our members are able to have a voice in their lives and in the community, while encouraging youth to assume positive roles in their lives.
